Vel Micro Works is actively involved in the enrichment of the local community by donating several hundreds of man-hours every year. Some of the active projects include:

• Develop and conduct an Annual State-wide Online Numbers Bee jointly sponsored by the Delaware State University and the Red Clay Consolidated School District. See http://www.nationalbee.org. Students in grades 3 through 8 participate in this event. The site is available all year around for students and teachers to use.

• Maintain the Delaware Chapter Red Cross web site including daily and emergency updates. See http://www.redcrossdelmarva.org

• Develop and maintain the website for the Hindu Temple of Delaware. See http://www.hindutemplede.com
